J3 Software is a technology development firm that creates business software and applications. The company is the creator of several mobile apps, including the MyChair app for iPhone and iPad.

The MyChair app is a client management tool for independent beauty salons and hair stylists to keep track of clients, appointments and business. In essence, the MyChair app serves as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for small and independent salons. As a vital app that helps salon owners run their business, and one that offers far more functionality than other competing apps, it carries a higher price point, which means that it cannot rely on passive “free” downloads.

The Strategy

The Program

Launched with a modest budget to test efficacy and conversions, Traffic helped to orchestrate a five-fold increase in the click-thru-rate (CTR), while average cost-per-click (CPC) decreased by nearly half.
